Smoked Mac & Cheese

Mac and cheese doesn’t need much help as it is but this recipe just kicks it up a couple of notches. I recently made this for friends and they all wanted to know how I made it. It is really easy and has a lot of great flavor. This makes me happy every time I have it. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 48 ounces Chicken Broth
    2 cups Milk
    10 ounces macaroni noodles
    10 ounces Velveeta cheese
    1 cup Sharp Cheddar Shredded

Directions

  • Pre heat your smoker to 225 degrees.
  • In a pot on the stove bring all but 1 cup of the chicken broth to a boil and add the macaroni. Cook until pasta is al dente, following package directions. Drain and return the pasta to the pot.
  • Cube the Velveeta cheese and add to the pot with the sharp cheddar cheese, reserved chicken stock, and the milk.
  • Cook on low just until the cheese is melted.
  • Place into a heat safe pan and place on the smoker for about 30 minutes.
